I'll try to post some pictures as soon as I have a chance. I don't have any more $1 or $2 coins for interent time but if the front desk can make change I'll try to after i finish this post. Anyway...On our 2nd and 3rd days in the Golden Bay Area we went to Cape Farewell and I hiked to Wharariki Beach and we also went to Abel Tasman National Park. Wharariki Beach is the most specatualr natural place I have ever seen. I don't think my pictures will do it any Justice because it was really about the whole experience. I'm pretty sure I know what's it's like to be in a hurricane now. The wind was sop strong I could barely move. I also had sand imbedded in every pore on my body. Abel Tasman was cool to, but I'm sun burnt, despite applying sunscreen about 8 times that day. There's no ozone above NZ so it happens quick!! None of it's too bad, I'm just slightly pink. We've had some great food the past few days, we pretty much just get sandwhiches becasue it's our cheapest option, but they don't fool around with thier sammies here! They've been huge and creative combinations.
Tomorrow we have a 4:30 am shuttle to the airport and then we're on our way to Sydney...Out of time, I'll be back soon!

Hi Sara, Sounds like you've had a great experience so far. I know that when the food is good it makes all the difference. The beach sounds wonderful! I wish I could be there.
I see that Australia is having some record heat. 104 in Sydney, I believe. I hope you can keep your cool!
It's so good that you can touch base with all of us in this way. I love hearing about your adventures!
Yes, I love getting up every morning to see if you've posted anything new. That beach does sound spectacular...wish I was with you. Can't wait to see pictures. I'll check Alex's blog as soon as I'm done here. I made a comment on Alex's blog but I don't think it posted. It might get near 30f here today. That will feel marvelous. Will have to take Chloe to the beach!
Love Ya!
